Gabriel J. Diaz has been a photographer for over 25 years, learning how to use a camera out in the Everglades. As a Florida native, he has been visiting the River of Grass since he was a kid, and really developed his love of the natural world through countless miles of hiking and canoeing there. His desire for exploration has taken him to Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia. He has also traveled to almost half of the United States, mostly by car or motorcycle.
Gabriel grew up thinking he would be a filmmaker, but picked up photography instead while just entering his twenties and never looked back. He has shot wildlife and nature, fashion, portraiture, and news, and has his own photography company in Miami, Florida that covers the exciting world of cycling. He mostly shoots digital, but also creates his images with a Mamiya 645 medium format film camera.
He lives with his wife, Evie, and their pet rabbit, Bubby, who has come along on numerous road trips with them.
Gabriel's list of clients and publications include Cycling Weekly Magazine, Pinarello US, N-Photo Magazine, Miami New Times and The Miami Herald.
